The Sonoran Singletrack Sensation is ~16 miles of undulating desert terrain and was built specifically for this event. The average lap time ranges from 1 hour to 1 hour and thirty minutes. If you want to ace the course lap-after-lap then we recommend selecting a training plan that allows you to stay on the gas for an hour or more per effort. But, if you just want to improve on last year’s lap times, then we recommend targeting your training with prep for a 15-minute sustained climb which you’ll encounter near the end of each lap.
