Prevent Child Abuse Arizona

Approximately 90,000 babies are born in Arizona each year, over half of whom are at risk for poor developmental outcomes including abuse and neglect. Since 1989, Prevent Child Abuse Arizona (PCA Arizona) has been working toward the day when all children in our state grow up safe and healthy. PCA Arizona’s research-based, effective programs reach more than 45,000 new parents and community professionals each year. Their mission is to prevent the abuse and neglect of Arizona’s children and their work strengthens families so that costly legal and social intervention isn’t needed.

Yavapai Food Bank

A decade in the running, the Whiskey Off-Road has raised funds and collected canned goods for the Yavapai Food Bank. Although the economy continues to improve, there are still many families struggling to feed their children. Up to 15,000 hungry children live in Yavapai County. Now more than ever, less-fortunate families in Arizona need our help. Currently, Yavapai Food Bank is feeding over 5,500 families throughout Yavapai County each month. Food distribution amounts to as much as 45,000 pounds of food weekly.

Yarnell Hill Recovery Group

The June 28, 2013 Yarnell Hill Fire was the deadliest wildfire in Arizona history, destroying 8,400 acres, 127 homes and tragically claiming the lives of 19 elite firefighters. The unincorporated community of Yarnell lost nearly a quarter of its homes. In order to help the fundraising committee meet their $6 million goal of rebuilding their community, a small portion of event proceeds from this year’s Whiskey Off-Road will go to the Yarnell Hill Recovery Group.
