Recommended Accommodations: Suggested by Visit Carson City, these establishments are conveniently-located, bike-friendly supporters of the Carson City Off-Road. Just book using your preferred method; then when you check in on event weekend, let the desk know you’re with the Carson City Off-Road.
Camping Registration will open January 1st
Mills Park: 1/2 mile from downtown Carson City. This is a 51-acre city park that will host free camping (tent & RV) to event guests. In addition to an expansive area shaded by old growth trees, Mills Park also offers entertainment for all ages with a skate park, the Carson & Mills Railroad (mini-sized), an aquatic center and a sprawling lawn.
Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest: 5 or more miles to downtown Carson City, depending on your location. Campground, Cabins, RV, and Dispersed camping (check site for reservation fees; some fee-free camping available).
The parking lots between Plaza/Stewart and Musser/Telegraph will be ideal for event attendees.
In general, though, the Carson City Off-Road event weekend has been designed so that all participants can arrive in town on Friday, park their car, and put away the keys until they are ready to depart Sunday afternoon.
Out of respect for local establishments in the downtown area, we encourage all attendees to park in designated parking areas (we don’t want to inadvertently fill up parking spots needed for local area patrons who aren’t affiliated with the event).
