Mills Park – fee, half mile from downtown Carson City
Description: a 51-acre city park that will host free camping (tent & RV) to event guests. In addition to an expansive area shaded by old growth trees, Mills Park also offers entertainment for all ages through a skate park, the Carson & Mills Railroad (mini sized), an aquatic center and a sprawling lawn.
Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest – free, 5 or more miles to downtown Carson City.
Carson City Off-Road event weekend has been designed so that all participants are able to arrive to town on Friday, and then park their car and put away the keys until they are ready to depart toward home Sunday afternoon. Out of respect for local establishments in the downtown area, we encourage all attendees to park in designated parking areas so as to not inadvertently fill up parking spots that are needed for local area patrons unaffiliated with the event. The parking lots between Plaza/Stewart and Musser/Telegraph will be ideal for event attendees.
