The 20th Annual Tour of the White Mountains presented by Blackburn Design, scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd showcases some of Arizona's best single track located in and around the Northeastern Arizona communities of Pinetop-Lakeside.
The Tour returns to Pinetop-Lakeside and offers a fresh approach to old and new trails in the White Mountains Trail System while leveraging the Pinetop Lakes activity and equestrian center to provide a complete family experience. Attendees will enjoy the onsite amphitheatre for event activities and live music, nearby accommodations (walk & ride the weekend away) and a robust communal campfire plus much more!
At 7,000 ft. a limited field of 700 riders will discover the challenges and gratification from riding awesome smooth flowing single track among a pine forest backdrop while witnessing the endless beauty (and perfect distraction) of the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests.
With the onset of fall upon us, participants, friends, family, spectators and volunteers are invited to enjoy cooler climates, witness the leaves changing colors, indulge in Pinetop-Lakeside's great selection of bars and restaurants less than 3 miles from the venue, and ride seemingly endless amounts of single track. Upon return from a day in the saddle, all finishers receive a patch emblazoned with their distance, and are welcomed to the post ride after party with live music, BBQ and frosty beverages.
The communities of Pinetop-Lakeside are sure to please any visitor with their quintessential small mountain town charm. Epic Rides encourages participants and their guests to spend the weekend in and around the Pinetop-Lakeside communities experiencing a vacation close to home and in the White Mountains of Arizona.
