With great cooperation from the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests, T.R.A.C.K.S. the communities of Pinetop-Lakeside, AZ and Pinetop Lakes Equestrian Center the Tour of the White Mountains course continues to improve each year.
All routes highlight the area's best trails consisting of smooth flowing single track, brief technical sections, a good mix of dirt roads, and cheek-to-cheek smile worthy descents. In short, all routes are incredibly fun!
Some of the stand-out qualities to the Tour routes are:
Choose your own adventure - Multiple distance options to choose from; 50, 35 and 9-miles of singletrack and a 30-mile forest road fun ride tour for anyone interested in a less strenuous stroll on dirt roads & jeep trails.
Los Burros the Correct Way - For all that have ridden the legendary Los Burros trail before, it's apparent riding it counter clockwise offers better flow and higher fun factor...feel the flow. The Tour routes participants over Los Burros "the correct way".
30-Mile Forest Road Fun Ride - Epic Rides is excited to bring back one of Arizona's greatest gravel grinders. Touring the many forest roads throughout the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forests is a great way to see the area and take in the wildlife.
Re-Route Cut-off Time - All 35-mile participants arriving to Los Burros Aid Station after 1:15p will be re-routed. All 30-mile & 50-mile participants arriving to Four Springs after 12:30p will be re-routed. Re-routes will be discussed at the mandatory riders meeting.
It's all good! - Each route utilizes literally some of the best trails the White Mountains Trail System has to offer including Los Burros, Country Club, Chipmunk Connector, Land of the Pioneer and the Springs trail.
Location - The event starts & finishes at the Pinetop Lakes Activites & Stables. The expo, camping and start/finish area will take place in a family and pet-friendly environment.

For pre-ride purposes, Epic Rides highly encourages you to cross reference our maps with T.R.A.C.K.S.' maps. Their maps offer detailed directions to each trail head and while on- route on a per loop/trail basis. Very useful.
